The 4th Annual Irish Criminal Justice Agencies (ICJA) Conference takes place on Tuesday, July 4 at Dublin Castle.
The conference, titled “Youth Justice Policy in Ireland. Where to next?”, features talks from Professor Ursula Kilkelly, (available here) chairperson of the board of management of Oberstown, Dr Geoffrey Shannon, the special rapporteur on child protection, and Judge John O’Connor. The Minister for Children and Youth Affairs Katherine Zappone will also be in attendance.
This one day conference is a collaboration of the Irish Youth Justice Service (IYJS), the Department of Justice and Equality, An Garda Síochána, The Probation Service, the Irish Prison Service and the Association for Criminal Justice Research and Development (ACJRD).
